I am a veteran of 20 years in the corporate world, and have strong leadership and organizational skills which lend themselves naturally to the intervention process. I am a Board Registered Interventionist, Level II as well as a Certified Drug, Alcohol and Addictions Counselor. I hold degrees in Counseling and Theology and relate well to individuals of all backgrounds. In recovery myself, I bring compassion and first hand understanding about how critical it is to break the cycle of addiction in the professional world as well as within the family.
I am the creator of the Transtheoretical Intervention Protocol _(TIP),_ an Intervention style that is based on the Johnson Model however incorporates a broad based Family Systems approach. Recovery must include the entire family for the individual to be successful in the long run. The Intervention provides the perfect opportunity for this process to begin.
I provide Interventions for families whose loved ones are struggling with chemical dependency, compulsive gambling, sex addictions and other compulsive behaviors. Over half of the interventions i facilitate are for families whose loved one is suffering from an eating disorder and this is an area of specialty for me.
I facilitate Interventions throughout the United States.
