Karen Franklin is a Board-Certified Masters Life Coach and held a Certified Intervention Professional designation for over 10 years. Karen provides family and individual coaching for families. During Karen’s intervention career, she facilitated therapeutic interventions nationwide and provided treatment planning, family coaching, case mgmt. and was clinical liaison to both residential and outpatient treatment providers. She guided families through the challenging process of intervention, using an empathetic approach with firm resolve which resulted in a great deal of success. Her comprehensive process offers families and those struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders, education, coaching and guidance to achieve recovery, health and life goals.

Karen is the co-author of the acclaimed book “Addicted Like Me, A Mother-Daughter Story of Substance Abuse and Recovery” as featured on ABC World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer. In “Addicted Like Me”, the authors share their personal story of the tragic effects of multi-generational addiction and provide inspiration and insight into the hope and healing that is possible when the cycle of addiction is broken through intervention and family recovery.
