CDK Interventions, LLC

Approach

Carla believes intervention is a process rather than a single event. While a formal intervention may become necessary, many families benefit first from education, coaching, and support as they learn how to navigate difficult conversations, establish healthy boundaries, and respond more effectively to a loved one’s behavior. She works closely with families to develop individualized strategies that promote meaningful change while preserving dignity, respect, and connection.

Experience

As both a person in recovery and a parent who has experienced the impact of addiction within her own family, Carla brings a unique combination of professional expertise and lived experience to her work. In addition to intervention services, she provides recovery coaching, case management, sober companionship, and treatment navigation for individuals and families throughout the United States.

Education & Credentials

Carla is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDCII), Certified Recovery Coach Professional (RCP), and Certified Intervention Professional (CIP). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal and Public Communications and has received training in multiple intervention methodologies, allowing her to tailor her approach to the unique needs of each individual and family.

Philosophy

Carla believes families are often more powerful than they realize. While addiction, gambling disorder, and mental health challenges can create tremendous fear and uncertainty, they can also become opportunities for healing and growth. Through education, advocacy, accountability, and compassionate support, she helps individuals and families move from crisis toward lasting recovery.
