Full Membership
An AIS Full Member is the cornerstone of our individual membership structure. This member hold a CIP certification through the PA Certification Board, has agreed to abide by the AIS Code of Ethics in all intervention service dealings, and has demonstrated ethical practices in their company.
AIS Full Members are voting members for the AIS Board of Directors, and are entitled to discounted savings at the AIS Conferences. Further, AIS members are designated on the Membership Directory as having achieved the recognition of CIP, the certification by which AIS supports. These members are endorsed by AIS as offering ethical and safe treatment options within the intervention services field.
Candidate Membership
An AIS Candidate Member is member of AIS that is still developing their practice. The goal of a candidate member is to achieve their CIP certification and move up to Full Member. This member has agreed to abide by the AIS Code of Ethics in all intervention service dealings, and has demonstrated ethical practices in their company.
AIS Candidate Members are not voting members for the AIS Board of Directors.
Emeritus Membership
An AIS Emeritus Member is a full member of AIS who was retired or was forced to take extended time off from providing intervention services. The Emeritus Member is a non-practicing CIP certificate holder, and plans to return to active therapy at a later time. This member has agreed to abide by the AIS Code of Ethics in all intervention service dealings, and has demonstrated ethical practices in their company.
AIS Emeritus Members are voting members for the AIS Board of Directors.
Organizational Membership
An AIS Organizational Member is an organization which works in the intervention services field, and provides these services through more than one interventionist. This membership designation was created to facilitate larger intervention services companies to join AIS and better support the needs of our membership at large. This member has agreed to abide by the AIS Code of Ethics in all intervention service dealings, and has demonstrated ethical practices in their company.
The Organizational Membership is a non-voting membership. Employees of the organizational member are also non-voting members (unless they are independently Full Members).
