Stephen Pfleiderer is the founder of SF Intervention. SF Intervention offers to individuals, families and institutions a range of services that includes treatment consultations, interventions, case management and referrals. Stephen has specific expertise and experience in working with young professionals, executives as well as high profile populations.

Stephen studied Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) under David Burns, MD, the famed author of Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy who also developed TEAM Therapy, an advanced form of CBT. Stephen is the first interventionist to achieve Level 3 certification as a TEAM therapist. He has also received certifications from the founders of ARISE Intervention, Systemic Family Intervention, the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals and was recently awarded the Certified Intervention Professional credential exceeding both the educational and performance standards set forth by the Pennsylvania Certification Board.

Stephen is a member of the Network of Independent Interventionists, as well as the Association of Intervention Specialists. Stephen recently discussed his work as a guest on NPR and also on Dr. Burn’s Feeling Good Podcast on iTunes. Last summer, he provided an intervention training seminar at the DB Recovery Resources conference in London and was recently invited to share his expertise at Google.
